Comverge Announces Commercial Release of Apollo Integrated Demand Response Management System
Apollo now available with enhanced Smart Grid applications
EAST HANOVER, N.J., April 3, 2009 Comverge, Inc. (Nasdaq: COMV), a leading provider of smart grid, demand management and energy efficiency solutions, announced the first release of its Apollo™ system at its annual Users Group Meeting. Apollo represents the industry's first integrated Demand Response Management System that links in-home demand response devices to electric utility operations and back office applications. Apollo is an enterprise class, 100% web-based application, designed to provide a platform for advanced demand management applications as well as future Comverge software applications. Key features of this Apollo release include:
- Integrated load reduction estimation; providing system operators an intuitive view of the amount of demand reduction capability achieved.
- Utility management program design and administration tools; providing program administrators' tools for designing their demand response program constraints.
- Control strategy design and modeling tools for Comverge's suite of hardware solutions including Digital Control Units and SuperStats® as well as ZigBee® SmartEnergy Profile devices.

- Integrated customer service tools for managing customer overrides and opt-out operations.

- A platform solution capable of communications on multiple networks and protocols; giving our customers the ability to manage and control devices on both AMI and legacy paging systems.
