Comverge Added to NASDAQ Clean Edge U.S. Indexes
East Hanover, NJ: September 17, 2007 – Comverge, Inc. (NASDAQ: COMV),a leading clean capacity provider of energy solutions through demand response, today announced it has been added to the NASDAQ(R) Clean Edge(R) U.S. Index and the NASDAQ(R) Clean Edge(R) U.S. Liquid Series Index, effective with the market open on Monday September 24, 2007. The NASDAQ Clean Edge U.S. index began on May 18, 2006 and is evaluated semi-annually.
The NASDAQ Clean Edge U.S. Index and the NASDAQ Clean Edge U.S. Liquid Series Index are designed to track the performance of clean-energy companies that are publicly traded in the U.S. The indexes includes companies engaged in the manufacturing, development, distribution, and installation of emerging clean-energy technologies such as automated metering systems, energy management systems like demand response and smart grid technology.
