Comverge's Maingate™ Product Recognized With National Society of Professional Engineers Award
FLORHAM PARK, NJ-July 23, 2002-Comverge, Inc., a subsidiary of Data Systems & Software Inc. (NASDAQ: DSSI), announced today that its MaingateTM energy gateway product was recognized in an award given by the National Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE). Comverge's MaingateTM is utilized in the GoodCents Select service offering, by Comverge's partner, Gulf Power Company, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Southern Company (NYSE: SO). GoodCents Select was chosen to receive the 2002 NSPE New Product Award. The nomination was submitted by the Florida Engineering Society.
The award notification stated, "This prestigious award honors American companies and their contributions to society. Winning products were chosen for their exceptional engineering research, design, and overall impact on our national economy. Using these criteria, the committee made its 2002 selections from a variety of innovative products."
