Comverge Announces Cynthia Arcate as New Business Development Director
East Hanover, NJ - November 30, 2006: Comverge, Inc. announced today that Ms. Cynthia Arcate, a widely respected expert in energy markets and management, has joined Comverge, Inc.'s Alternative Energy Resources Group as a Business Development Director. Ms. Arcate will manage business development for the Northeast region of the US, including New England and New York.
Prior to joining Comverge, Ms. Arcate was Deputy Commissioner for Programs at the Massachusetts Division of Energy Resources (DOER). She had overall responsibility for all programs of the agency, including the agency's oversight and coordination of the state's electric and gas energy efficiency programs, administration of the renewable energy portfolio standard and developing policies on energy issues. Prior to coming to DOER, Ms. Arcate held a variety of legal and senior management positions at National Grid, USA, in Westborough MA. Prior to coming to National Grid, Ms. Arcate was a staff attorney at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission. Ms. Arcate holds a J.D. from New York Law School and a B.A. from St. Lawrence University.
