Comverge "Solutions Group" Announces New President and Chief Operating Officer
Ed Myszka Joining Comverge from Heading Motorola's OEM Energy Systems Group

East Hanover, NJ, April 12, 2005 – Comverge, Inc. announced today that Ed Myszka, after recently heading Motorola's OEM Energy Systems Group, will be joining Comverge, Inc. as the President and Chief Operating Officer of the Comverge Solutions Group. Mr. Myszka's extensive experience in technology, strategy, and business development will bring added insight and depth to the Comverge executive team.

At Motorola, Mr. Myszka directed the OEM Energy Systems Group where he had full P&L responsibility. Prior to this experience, Mr. Myszka worked in multiple roles within Motorola and, earlier in his career, led engineering and manufacturing efforts for LYTEL, Inc., a rapid growth start-up company later sold to a Fortune 100 firm. Mr. Myszka has extensive experience in all aspects of running a business, including Six Sigma "black belt" quality procedures, engineering processes, production outsourcing, strategic planning and opening new business markets. In addition to several patents and publications, Mr. Myszka earned both an MBA and Masters of Science at Illinois Institute of Technology.

"We are fortunate to have Ed joining our team," said Comverge CEO Robert Chiste. "Ed's accomplished background and leadership skills will make him an invaluable asset to Comverge." Ed Myszka commented on his enthusiasm for the position when he stated that "Comverge is in an excellent position to realize and exceed its long term goals as the premier provider of End-to - End Energy IntelligenceSM solutions. In conjunction with Comverge's Enterprise Group, headed by Frank Magnotti, the Solutions Group is well positioned to substantially increase investor value by continuing to deliver outstanding solutions to its utility customers. I look forward to leading the Solutions Group and working with the entire Comverge team as demand response and advanced metering markets continue to rapidly expand."
