Comverge Announces 30 MW Expansion of Virtual Peaking Capacity Contract with San Diego Gas & Electric

East Hanover, NJ - February 8, 2007: Comverge, Inc., a leading provider of clean energy solutions through demand response, announced today it has entered into an agreement with San Diego Gas & Electric (SDG&E) to expand its Demand Response Capacity Delivery Agreement to provide an additional 30 megawatts of electric capacity. With the expansion, Comverge will provide SDG&E with up to 100 MW of Virtual Peaking CapacityTM. The agreement is subject to approval by the California Public Utility Commission. With this expansion and our recently announced new VPC agreement with Public Service Company of New Mexico, Comverge now has over 310 megawatts of capacity under contract.
