The 2008 Comverge Users' Conference will feature our 3rd Annual Golf Tournament. This team scramble format offers participants an entire afternoon of networking and enjoyment on one of the area's finest courses. For those attendees that aren't interested in golfing, we can make arrangements for a relaxing treatment at a nearby spa. The conference also features an annual casual, themed off-site dinner which is always a great time.

3rd Annual Advance Open Golf Tournament
This year's setting is the beautiful McCormick Ranch Golf Club. Located in the heart of Scottsdale, the golf club offers two championship courses design by renowned architect Desmond Muirhead. They have recently been renovated and feature new greens, sand traps, and bridges. Participants in this tournament will test their skills on the Palm Course which boasts ten water holes – the 9th hole having been chosen by Golf Illustrated as one of the USA's top 18 water holes.
Our scramble format, shotgun start tournament will begin at 1:00 PM on Monday, March 31. A chartered bus will depart from the Doubletree hotel. There is no registration or greens fee for the tournament. Club rentals will be $45 per person for a full sent of Ping clubs. Even if you've never golfed before, this tournament is designed to be fun for all. Prizes will be awarded for Longest Drive, Longest Putt, and Closest to the Pin, along with overall awards for the 1st and 2nd place teams.
Dress Code
Collared shirts are required for men. Shorts are permitted, but should be of Bermuda length. No t-shirts, tank tops, cut-offs, sweat pants, bathing suits, athletic shorts, or denim are permitted.
Spa Treatments
For those not interested in golfing we will arrange a complimentary treatment at Lamar Spa for Monday, March 31. The island-inspired ambience of the spa is an unexpected oasis in the Sonoran Desert. Their knowledgeable staff has combined exotic therapies from around the world to create an unparallele place of rejuvenation. Whether you need to relax, rejuvenate or just reconnect with yourself, The Lamar's friendly staff can help. For this activity, you will have use of all spa facilities and access to an "all you can spa" mini-sampling of services including massage, manicures, paraffin dips, facials, and hair style and makeup consultation.
Dinner Party at the Penske Racing Museum
The annual conference dinner party is kicking into high gear! After an informative day of sessions on Tuesday, April 1, the event will head off-site to the Penske Racing Museum for an energizing thrill ride and dinner experience.
The Penske Racing Museum showcases a one-of-a-kind collection of Team Penske vintage racing cars and memorabilia. Designed as the anchor for the spectacular North Scottsdale Auto Mall facility, there are magnificent views of the McDowell Mountains and Pinnacle Peak. Throughout the evening you'll have the opportunity to explore the cars, chat with a pit crew member, take a ride in a Nascar simulator, and experience off-roading with the Land Rover Test Climb - all while enjoying a delicious dinner.
V2G electric car will be on display!
A plug-in, vehicle-to-grid (V2G) electric car will be on display during the event. The 100% electric vehicle, based on a Scion ®, runs on li-ion batteries, has a range of 140 miles, and the technology to communicate with the electric grid.
