Arizona Public Service

Founded in 1886, Arizona Public Service (APS) is Arizona’s largest and longest-serving electric company. APS partners with Comverge to deliver Peak Solutions, a direct load control demand response program, to commercial and industrial business customers in the metropolitan Phoenix and Yuma areas.

City of Wadsworth, Ohio

Wadsworth Electric is an electric distribution system that has been owned and operated by the City of Wadsworth, Ohio, since 1916. Wadsworth selected Comverge to deploy home area network and in-home display infrastructure to implement a load control program supported by dynamic pricing.

Eskom

Eskom is the largest electricity provider in Africa, generating approximately 45% of the electricity used on the continent and 95% of the electricity used in South Africa. Beginning in 2011, Eskom partnered with Comverge on a pilot to create a demand response market of commercial and industrial load to reduce the strain on the power grid and prove the efficacy of DR in South Africa.

Gulf Power

Northwest Florida-based Gulf Power, a subsidiary of Southern Company, pioneered fully-automated critical-peak pricing with the nation's first program of this type, Energy Select. The Gulf Power Energy Select program continues to give more than 15,000 participants greater control over their energy usage and has earned multiple awards, including the 2013 POWERGRID International Project of the Year Award and a 2015 Smart Grid Education Award.

Pepco Holdings, Inc.

Pepco Holdings, Inc. (PHI) is one of the largest energy delivery companies in the Mid-Atlantic region, serving about two million customers. Comverge and PHI have partnered since 2009 on the Energy Wise Rewards demand response program, which received the 2014 POWERGRID International Project of the Year Award and the 2015 PLMA Program Pacesetter Award.

Scottsboro Electric Power Board

Scottsboro Electric Power Board is a public power utlity located in northeast Alabama. Scottsboro Electric Power Board partnered with Tennessee Valley Authority and Comverge in 2012 on a pilot demand response program that leveraged IntelliSOURCE to provide energy management capabilities to customers.

Southern Maryland Electric Cooperative

Southern Maryland Electric Cooperative (SMECO) is one of the ten largest electric co-ops in the nation with 154,000 customer-members. Since 2008 Comverge has provided SMECO a pay-for-performance demand response program that is designed, owned, and operated by Comverge and has enrolled more than 50% of eligible households.
