Marketing Manager/Account Planner (East Hanover, NJ)

Job Summary
As a key member of the Alternative Energy Resources Group, this individual will be responsible for provocative thinking, customer advocacy, demographic research and translating ideas into actionable marketing plans. As well as promoting Energy Efficiency/Conservation Marketing programs directed to Electric Utility customers. This positions reports to a Director of Marketing:

• Simplify research into pithy briefs for planning purposes.
• Utilize MapInfo demographic/psychographic databases.
• Translate data analysis to create reports and customer profiles.
• Assess marketing activities and optimize marketing effectiveness.
• Develop innovative thinking to ensure marcom materials are distinctive and relevant.
• Write creative briefs that are innovative and on target
• Plan marketing activities for multiple electric utility accounts.
• Maintain ongoing marketing activities while optimizing their response rate.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelors degree (B.S. /B.A.) in Marketing or Communications and three to five years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. The candidate should be familiar with clean energy initiative, real-time pricing and/or demand management and display a professional appearance. Experience in creating graphical presentations in Excel and PowerPoint, strong knowledge of MS Access and charting software like MS Excel and excellent verbal and written communication skills required. MapInfo demographic expertise is a strong plus.
