Field Technician (Las Vegas, NV)

Job Summary
The Field Technician will serve as a key member of the AER Nevada Team and will work independently to perform installations, commissioning, maintenance and repair of Nevada Power Program and other program equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform field installation and commissioning of advance energy management and control equipment
• Installations and commissioning of low and line voltage equipment and wiring
• Install intelligent thermostats and associated equipment
• Install Digital Control Units (DCUs)
• Clean up of work area after installations
• Provide commissioning, operation, quality control and quality assurance.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate must have an Associate's degree from a two-year college or technical school and one to three years of related experience. HVAC contracting, electrical, automation and controls experience preferred. Nevada contractors C1 Plumbing and Heating C1F (heating Cooling and Circulating Air) and or C2A Electrical Wiring, C2 Electrical Contractor, C2D Low Voltage, C2F Residential Wiring desired or the ability to meet state licensing requirements.
