Field Technician (San Diego, CA)

Job Summary
The successful candidate will serve as a key member of the AER San Diego Team and will work independently to perform installations, commissioning, maintenance and repair of San Diego Gas & Electric (SDG&E) Summer A/C Saver Program equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform field installation and commissioning of advance energy management and control equipment.
• Installations and commissioning of low and line voltage equipment and wiring
• Install intelligent thermostats and associated equipment.
• Install Digital Control Units (DCUs)
• Clean up of work area after installations
• Provide commissioning, operation, quality control and quality assurance.

Qualifications
Associate’s degree from a two-year college or technical school and one to three years of related experience. HVAC contracting, electrical, automation and controls experience preferred. Class C-10 – Electrical Contractor, C-20 – Warm-Air Heating, Ventilating and Air-Conditioning Contractor license desirable.
